Today’s phones have become increasingly sophisticated and offer their users a wide range of features. One of these features is the ability to check your online social feeds on your phone through dedicated applications. But having a separate application for each social network or feed can be inconvenient. Here to make matters far more convenient for iOS device owners is a tool called Streamified.
Streamified is a free to us smartphone app for iOS devices. The app is sized at nearly 20 MB and compatible with iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad devices running iOS version 4.3 or later. The app basically merges the streams from different social networks namely Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn, and Google Reader; feeds from blogs are also supported and can be integrated. You can choose to select which aspects of each network are shown to you in the main feed. For example for the Twitter account that you add, you can access the feed options and choose to show or hide the @mentions. Similarly for Facebook you can show or hide the News Feed or the Wall.
The app is not only a feed reader – it also lets you interact with your feeds. You can share items to your feeds or update the status of your multiple networks simultaneously. You can also like posts, retweet, reblog, or share links, and post photos on your networks.
Posts that you like and posts that you want to save for later viewing can be easily bookmarked through the application. You can later access Streamified’s bookmarks section to revisit these posts.
Overall, this app will perfectly serve iOS device owners that check multiple online networking accounts daily.
