Src-Img is a simple bookmarklet that helps you search for other sources of an image, using Google Image Search. One objective of the tool is to find the original creators of images you see on blogs without attribution. However, the tool can be used for lots of other purposes.

For example, when you click on the Src-Img bookmarklet in your browser, it searches that particular image on Google Image search and gives you not only a list of all other websites/blogs using that image, but also all other available sizes of that image. The tool is super simple to use and all you have to do is drag the bookmarklet link to your browser to set it up.

When you click on the bookmarklet while viewing a webpage with multiple images, the tool asks you to specify the image you want to look up.

There are so many issues with this marklet, I hardly know where to begin.
I certainly wouldn't begin by letting the author know, he is protected by a sign-in which precludes feedback - maybe he doesn't want any.
The most consistent results I've had so far with this are all 404s, so I'll stick to the other image trackers that are ready for prime time.

    1. How is this different from drag-n-drop GIS-by-image?
    2. Why are there no dates on your articles??
