Thanks...improvements are of course part of any program. From the website, it is slated soon but I am not sure to what extent for the free version. I wish they would add some of the things to the free version too and maybe keep the syncing bit for the paid one.

Very good and thorough review. Probably one needs to already know the Getting Things Done system to fully appreciate this software. GTD guru David Allen suggests a filing box with folders approach. I've set one up -- but I never seem to keep it up. This software may help me, especially with the little task add entry box in the sys tray.

I can see a couple areas for new functionality: a calendar, which you mentioned -- and also a Smartphone app to allow adding of tasks while away from computer.

As someone with two residences on different continents, the backup and syncing capability are appealing -- tho I may be able to just add the database to my Syncplicity routine.

I plan to notify my blog readers about this review.

GTD is a very subjective thing. Some can manage well everything in their minds, some need complicated apps and some need a secretary. To each his own, as I would say. But if you have a lot of things on your plate...some sort of management is always necessary IMHO.

It seems like by the time you've finished setting up these time-saving programs you could've gotten more productive things accomplished. Maybe I don't fully appreciate these types of programs because I don't have a lifestyle that necessitates the use of them, but they kind of seem like a waste of time to me.
