Sniff Out Your Torrents From Multiple Trackers With uSniff

I have been a avid user of BitSoup and The Pirate Bay for years. But occasionally I find myself staring at a Google search box….torrent + file.

This works OK but if you want to see all your results, you have to keep clicking back and forth to multiple torrent tracker sites. This is where Usniff comes into play.

Simply tell Usniff what you are looking for in the search box.

It will query 8 different torrent search engines including:

  1. The Pirate Bay
  2. BitTorrent
  3. Mininova
  4. IsoHunt
  5. Monova
  6. SeedPeer
  7. TorrentReactor
  8. Torrentz

You will get your results pretty quickly on a screen that will look like this:

You are given the option to disable any single one or a group of them by clicking on their names in the right hand panel. The whole Web 2.0 website is designed in Ajax so you can sort and filter your results quickly. There are not a whole lot of features but it does what it does extremely well. I discovered it via a link on Download Squad and HAD to share it with you guys.

If you spend as much time as me downloading 0 day warez bootlegs and porn appropriate legal content like Ubuntu then you will instantly realize how handy this site can become.

Don’t forget, for those of you who love to follow trends you can check out their ‘Top Searches’ list on the right hand panel under the search engine names. This can be a great place to start looking for torrents - that is if you want to get down with the cool kids…

Maybe they should rename it ‘What The Cool Kids Are Downloading’ :).

Do you have another tool or website you use to query multiple torrent sites? Let us know - share your knowledge with others….it’s only nice!

There’s already a site that does this, and it’s been around for quite a while now. It’s called torentz.com
