pretty rad! Some apps were better to work in than others for sure while I ‘Double Vizzed’, and of course the videos I choose can often grab my attention away from what I am working on but I have to say, watching family guy and the daily show episodes all day while I am working made my Monday feel like a Friday. Not to mention I was still being productive…just randomly laughing out loud is all with headphones on, heh.

In this economy, if someone wants to risk being being fired from work for slacking off then let them. When they get fired they’ll bring in someone who wont.

To disconnect tracking use SSH to tunnel out to your home PC, and set that as a proxy for firefox…

Simple to use, hard to master.

It’s not as good as firefox usability wise but it does the job. There are apps that allow you to set transparency of a window – and most are portable. Put firefox and those apps on a usb stick and then you have the power of firefox, but with the transparency and cloaking of doublevision.

The problem of Web surfing at work is not that nobody sees you but that nobody tracks you.

I work by myself but every movement I make in the computer is recorded and my boss gets a history of my surfing: what sites I went and how much time I spent on each of them.

So, hit me back when you find a way to disconnect tracking.

It’s so kind of you to show and encourage people to do this and get fired in this time of high unemployment.

Let’s just hope that you also don’t get a pink slip. Although, I’m willing to bet that there are a few people out there right now that would be more willing to do your job, better, for less money!
