Normally to make a CV, people open up Microsoft Word or a similar application to type up their CV, format it into a suitable layout, and then convert the document to PDF for sharing. But here to make matters much simpler is a tool called SlashCV.

SlashCV is a free to use web service that lets you create a CV online and then download it in the PDF file format. The site currently offers one free CV template and plans to add other pay-for templates later. You can add modules to your CV and information is saved automatically as you type. You can add multiple entries for the same module for example, adding different schools in the Education section. Once your CV has been finalized, you can download it as a PDF file.
