If you have an iPhone it is very easy and convenient to take photos with it on the go. However, syncing your photos manually to your desktop is not as easy. Apple introduced iCloud as a native way to store and back up your data in the cloud. However, if you don’t like iCloud for some reason there are other third-party alternatives that let you seamlessly sync your photos to your desktop. One such tool is SkyPath.
It is an app provided by the popular image hosting service ImageShack. It lets you upload your photos to ImageShack and sync them automatically to your PC. To use it you must have an ImageShack account. If you don’t have it, get it for free from their website. Next, install the SkyPath desktop application on your desktop and iOS app on your iPhone or iPad. Finally, sign in with your ImageShack username and password from your iPhone and desktop.
Once you are set up, simply go to the “Uploads” tab from the app, click the + icon at the top, select the photos you want to sync from your iPhone photo roll and then select SkyPath as the upload option. The selected photos will sync to the designated SkyPath desktop folder. If needed, you can upload your full photo library with a single click.
Apart from the iPhone and other iOS devices you can use it to sync your photos across other devices running Windows, MAC OS and Android operating systems
SkyPath also includes over 20 Photo Filters, which let you do some cool effects on your photos before sharing them online. To apply effects click “Edit” from the photo view.
