One of the reasons why people have stuck to Twitter is that it facilitates simple and easy sharing of information. We can now find people sharing all kinds of links on Twitter, most of which is useful stuff. In case you want to make sure that you don’t miss any of them in your stream, you could use a nifty service called Siftlinks to create an RSS feed for them, and then subscribe to it in your favorite RSS reader.
You don’t need to separately sign into the tool. It uses OAuth for accessing your Twitter account (a safe way to do so) and you just need to give it access and let it do its own thing.
As you can see in the above screenshot, it creates a page that contains tweets with links and their titles. There’s a link to the RSS feed of that page at the top.
- Generate RSS feed for links in Twitter stream.
- Uses OAuth for accessing your Twitter account.
- Subscribe to the page in your favorite feed reader.
