September Roundup : Make Use Of Authors

Oct. 2nd, 2008 By Mark O'Neill

Summer has left us and we are heading full steam ahead into autumn - only 85 days till Christmas!  :-)

September has been an eventful month at Make Use Of - our games section finally took off properly and Ross started with us.   Our adjustments to the comments board - including the ability to subscribe to follow-up comments - has also seen an increase in comments coming in which is really nice.

If you want to take advantage of this feature, just tick the “notify me of followup comments via email” box at the bottom of the story comments box before submitting your initial comment.   Then whenever someone else comments on that story, you will be emailed the comment.    Not to worry though - if you decide you don’t want to be notified anymore, Wordpress makes it easy for you to unsubscribe from the emails.

Oh and have you uploaded an gravatar yet so your comments are personalised with your face or an icon?   If not, it’s very easy!   Just go to Gravatar.com, make a free account and upload your image!   The account is also valid for many other sites apart from Make Use Of!

And now, in case you missed any of September’s stories, here are what our writers published in the last 4 weeks :
