These are not business cards...these are something I could easily type up and save to my phone and text for free!!!
We are also offering digital business cards that you can text or email to potential clients/customers, but with ours you can add your own custom logo, plus are cards can also be converted very easily to Event cards, Appointment reminder cards, and coupon/specials cards that can also be text. If you are looking for an actual business card that is just in digital format so it can be text and/or emailed...check out our website www.egregate.com...only costs $17.95, one time fee, no membership required, and you have unlimited use.

Thanks for your time!!!

I've been using Mydropcard.com for several months now and it offers several features that don't seem to be available Contxts. I much prefer sending the SMS message myself just text their email to 41411 and it will send your dropcard. You can specify business and personal cards and their shortcuts make texting even easier. They also have an iphone URL. I'm sure Contxts is a great service but I'd encourage folks to check out Mydropcard.com

certainly instant delivery has a lot of value. But this is 2008, how can you possibly assume they won't get their email until they get to their computer? How many Blackberry, Windows Mobile, G1 and iPhone users are out there that get their mail in full html on their phone? Email is as good as a text message for me on my Q9c, especially if it is sent to my Exchange account at work. If you want them to instantly have your basic info, send them a text message with your email address. Then bam they have your phone number and email. Or if they're a respectable professional, you can text Dropcard and in a minute they'll have all your info on their email on their phone. Most professionals have a smartphone now, along with a lot of consumers. And even most dumbphones now have an email client.

I think that getting the information immediately to their phone has some value. Emailing your information is great, but they won't see it until that get to their computer.

The great part of texting your information is how they immediately get the information. I think this adds value, but maybe it's just me.

This service sounds terrible. Why would you want to rely on somebody else to do a special technique to get your info? You want to be sure they get it and you don't want to make them work for it. Plus this is all just plain text and you can't put social networks on it.

Use www.mydropcard.com. Instead of asking somebody to send a particular username to a particular number, with Mydropcard, you do it yourself. You send the recipient's email address in a text message yourself from your own phone. The person automatically gets emailed all your contact info and a vcard to add you to their contacts is attached to the message. You can put your social networks on it and any web address you want, as many as you want. So if your social network isn't supported, just put the url on it.

You can put as much information on it as you want and even include a personal message for each person you send it to. You can set up separate cards for business and personal info.

It's all free or if you want to include file attachments and your logo with it, you can do that for $6 a month.
