Search Popular Rapid Share Downloads Easily with RapidShare123
Popular torrent trackers and websites, like The Pirate Bay, are going to be going the way of the dinosaurs. That’s right, they will soon be extinct.
So, we might just have to find other methods of searching for and downloading files like television shows or movies from the interweb. I have been using a website called www.RapidShare.com for a while now to trade files with friends who don’t know what FTP is. Now, I found a neat search engine that will let you search what other people are uploading!
In the past, I’ve shown you a Rapidshare search engine but this new one is even better. It’s called RapidShare123 and is located at http://www.RapidShare123.com. RapidShare123 collects Rapid Share downloads from sites, forums, blogs and portals. Don’t have something to search for? Come on, all you need to search is a little bit of imagination – and if you don’t have any of that, RapidShare123 lists the most recent search terms on their homepage.
In the past, we have showed you how to make use of your Rapidshare account with some free Rapidshare tools that you should definitely check out if you haven’t.
Enough shameless promotion, let’s take a look at how RapidShare123 works.

After browsing over to their website, you will see a big old search box followed by a big blue Find button to find rapid share downloads. That’s all there is to it! I decided to type in something that would not bring up copyrighted materials for this article but hey, you can do whatever you want. I tried and I tried but all of my searches kept returning copyrighted information. I won’t download the actual file but I will walk you through how it works.
I settled down with the search term Simpsons and got a lot of results. Some times RAR files are broken into multiple files. This is denoted by the “part01″ before the file extension. Using this search, I try to stay away from them but your results may vary. I hit the link 7 items down for The Simpsons Season 19 Episode 10.

That took me to another page that returned this information:
![]()
It has the actual Rapid share download link as well as its file size. Click the link to start the download. Below, it lists the most recently downloaded files through their service. The site was just recently released so this info should improve over time. Long story short, RapidShare123 is awesome and can be used to kill some time searching for keywords and then watch what you get. It is almost like looking through someone else’s files.
Do you use a RapidShare search engine? Is yours better? Then, you should definitely share it with us in the comments!

Come on..Torrents are always better cuz there u can schedule ur stuff and go take a huuuuge break..U can even put it,fo 2 a movie,go 2 school or work and by the time u return it’d be done..
And best part is that even IF the movie or the file is in many parts of .rar or .zip u get em all in a single torrent which saves u the pain of manually downloading every part as in the case of Rapidshare..
Downloading all parts with RS + extracting all parts < take less time then < Downloading with bittorrent + extracting 1 huge file
RS is great, what's 55 euro/1 year nowadays? =)
Thats why you use something like JDownloader, it automates the entire process…just copy the links in and it will download them.
JDownloader has NEVER worked for me at all and is a blemish in the programming world. Did I mention it’s built with Java? Ugh.
(Comments wont nest below this level)I agree with Simon, I can also recommend JDownloader!
The new interface is very slick and I don’t care whether it runs in Java or not
(Although I’ve never tried the auto-unrar feature, does it work decently?)
what? torrents are always better ? are you cazy brother? rs rulez. FIREFOX + FLASGOT + DOWNTHEMAL or INTERNET DOWNLOADER for schedule downloads. ill download HD movie for 1 hour from rs and you maybe for 2 days
Quite presumptuous to say torrents will die out, just because of Pirate Bay – the piracy’s had casualties before like Napster, Oink, but that didn’t stop people from doing it, they just moved to different sites.
I think a cycle is coming into form: torrent tracker site is formed, people pirate on it, a copyright team takes it down. Timeframe of 5-10 years. Expect sites to keep showing up & closing down.
Dont get me wrong – I torrent daily but hey we all need to know our options… How long after you stopped using Napster or Kaza did you find out about BT?
When they went down wouldn’t you have wanted an alternative? I would have!
Hmmm……. i think you are missing something… direct download sites like Rapidshare will never be a replace for torrent protocol unless you want to pay a LOT of money for your membership (you will never find a direct download site with decent download rates for free and paying a normal fee for a dd service has a lot of limitations).
And if you think in legal matters: also the DD sites are facing some problems…
I use a free account from RapidShare and my speeds are not that bad!
“So, we might just have to find other methods of searching for and downloading files like television shows or movies from the interweb.”
Yeah… Or you could just stop stealing.
Ouch. Sounds like the start of another piracy discussion. Let the witty comments begin!
I’m not going to waste my time on hearing your senseless idiology (read: excuse) for stealing others’ work.

How’s the glass house coming along, buddy?
“And best part is that even IF the movie or the file is in many parts of .rar or .zip u get em all in a single torrent which saves u the pain of manually downloading every part as in the case of Rapidshare..”
Thats why you use something like JDownloader, it automates the entire process…just copy the links in and it will download them.
Also, you can get premium accounts for free using the “points” system that many of these sites have
Finally you guys start posting things that are in theme with the site!
I use Direct Downloads mostly for EBooks or the occasional image pack.
For movie/music/apps I just use Demonoid or ILoveTorrents.
Thanks for your comment Sergio and of course thanks for reading!
Come on…Are you serious…You’re shameless…Rapidshare like torrents…SUCK…Big Time if you know anything about them…torrents you’re grabbing bits N pieces which was fine in its day…Rapidshare is good as long as you have plenty of time & free bandwidth or pay the subscription fee because downloading 7 files depending on the time of day can take you up to a half hour for each file…So come on be Honest & fair…
Megaupload is one of the fastest & one of the best…
Mediafire is possibly the future of file sharing…fast and easy…
MU is my favourite by far, good for free users, great for premium users
MF is also very good, although I dont like the 100mb limit on files
When you have large files to share you know you’re going to have to split them most of the time so 100 mb is the general rule of thumb…
SavR is a large file sharer which is nice but you don’t know how long they’ll last and not enough people know about them or use them…
(Comments wont nest below this level)There aare many other search engines which will work better. Here is a list of best Rapidshare and Megaupload search engines..
http://pcsplace.com/tech-list/ultimate-list-of-best-rapidshare-and-megaupload-search-engines/
Everyone has their own opinions obviously and if I didn’t make myself clear above I will do it hear. Torrents rock! Big time and they are my method of choice for all large downloads – again this is only offering options.
Thats nice Karl but your promotional effort was behind rapidshare which requires 15 min interval between each download for free users which I’m sure you know…So there are obviously better file sharers which everyone else knows…
Nice work PC…Very useful list…
I kinda think Rapidshare, Megaupload, MediaFire, etc. are, in fact, a throwback or old school as far as technical achievements — there is nothing revolutionary about file hosting-servers – or grabbing uploaded files from servers. But there is something very radical and revolutionary about peer to peer file sharing – going into all the different peers’ personal pc’s and grabbing pieces and bits to get a large complete file is on, at least, another higher plane. I would rather see a real good advancement in this than getting files from servers that come with a shitload of restrictions.
It’s probably because im using a premium account (shared with 2 friends = reduced cost
)but i find rapidshare MUCH faster than torrents..
Premium also allows the use of download managers, so i too, can schedule when downloads start and stop.
Can you really trust these search sites though? I mean, sure you get the link.. But what if the RAR/ZIP is password protected? you’re kinda screwed then. I stick to website forums that specialise in rapidshare.. and you.. find the links there… ahem…
The major reason i didn’t use sites like RapidShare123.com in the past is beacause they often gave me links from pages i didn’t recognise and/or trust. I never did trust what i’d find in them rar files, regardless of their bname and size!
One way around this is to use a programme like sandboxie, and download the files from a sandboxed browser. Rar files can then be extrated within sandboxie (using sandboxed winrar). That way any malware/viruses you find within rar files can be instantly and permanently deleted simply by deleting the sandbox.
This is a good site but the problem is that you do not know whether to trust the downloaded file or not. It is better to read a description to the file from a dependable source and then only I wish to download. I use the site http://downloadanystuff.org and use the Drop Down option of “Rapidshare Files” and I find almost anything. Besides ‘Megaupload Files” and files from other search engines are also easily found.
Nothing will beat Katz.cd, ever. Rapid123 looks interesting enough though.
Katz is good, but can be very questionable and you really have to be careful
There are others I prefer,
http://www.filestube.com rocks although even http://www.rapidlibrary.com is not bad.
Nice work! Thanks
Did you know you can easily search thru all filesharing sites at one time?
They support: Rapidshare, Megashares, Megaupload, Badongo, Filefront, UploadMirrors, Savefile, Yousendit, Easy-share, Dump.ru, Zippyshare, depositfiles, filefactory, filezs.to, Mediafire, Mbload, Share-Online, Neload, 4shared, Uploaded.to and many more!

I suggest you to add this to your list
