Karl- Even though I'm a regular user of the command line, I think this is a great little tool. I'm going to add it as a QuickLink instead of my normal WIN-R . . . type in CMD . . . then do ipconfig etc. I like this quick and easy way to get to the same info.

Gregor- Sometimes when I read your comments (OK, I don't actually know if you've written comments before, I'm just mimicking your syntax) I ask myself, "Does this guy even HAVE an inner monologue? Does he really think anything that pops into his brain needs to be shared with the world?" Karl's much more gracious than I am inclined to be. If you don't have something nice or constructive or even remotely useful to say, then just say it to yourself.

Well the application is actually fully portable and only runs from a single exe file so the comment about filthy is wrong. I simply keep these on a USB drive (32 gigger as of now)

i didn't meant to sound that i have anything against you or your webpage, heck, i check it several times on daily basis. i just think you should create a selection on which applications to review/install on computer and which not.

my personal opinion is that an app like this one is not needed on any pc. the more applications like this you have on your pc, the more "filthy" the pc itself looks.

i would suggest launchy for this kind of options or just making shortcuts in quicklaunch or pin them to start menu or similar.

keep up the good work with AA and MakeUseOf!

Gregor,

Really? Well thanks for the message even if it is derogatory.

1 - The point of this particular piece of software as stated in the article is to have all of these shortcuts in once place and to let users run commands without knowing the syntax.

2 - When I need a utility or application I do not care what the basic gui looks like as it DOES WHAT I NEED IT TO DO.

Thanks for reading anyways!

2. what did developer think? is he blind? some of the software you show us here are so god damn ugly it hurts my eyes!
