Indie Pop

Going 90 liken themselves to two of my favorite bands, Two Door Cinema Club and The Editors, being involved in a fender bender. The Irish indie band emerges with a highly addictive and fast paced indie sound that has the potential to capture the airwaves.

Eccentric Chicago-based Republic of Lights don't adhere to norms, neither on their Facebook profile, nor in their music. The music is catchy, the lyrics are challenging, and I imagine their shows are a blast.

Formed in 2007, beta.beta is a bicoastal pop synth collaboration between musician Parixit Davé and vocalist Adelin Cai.

Alternative Rock

Argentinian hard rock with a taste of blues, psychedelic rock, punk, and indie pop. In 2012, their sound won them Buenos Aires' Pop City festival Emerging Band award. Animal Instinct, released in April 2014, is their debut album.

Open Letters offer a sound that isn't easy to digest. Borderline emo and with a vocalist that could pass in Punk, they push hard against the mainstream.

Estaçao Planetaria is the debut album of the Spanish band Monos (Monkeys). It's a sonic daydream for fans of 90s pop-rock.

Progressive Rock

Los Angeles based guitarist and producer Andre LaFosse is a skilled sound manipulator. Challenging the idea of technology-driven efficiency and precision, he splits and fuses sound bits to produce machine-made music driven by human impulse, intellect and intuition. His credo: "Technology does not age gracefully." Do The Math.

Automaton is the debut album of North Californian progressive rockers Pinnacles.
Atmospheric Rock
Genre: alternative, cinematic, indie, post rock
Following their critically acclaimed 2012 debut Growth and Squalor, Accents present Tall Tales. The sophomore album was funded with a Kickstarter campaign. It captures the listener with stories well told, spun into a web of lush melodies and strong vocals.

Sleeping Bear is an instrumental post-rock band from the Ukraine. Founded in 2013, the melancholic sound of the self-titled debut brings brings up images from the recent happenings in their home country. Richard Allen from A Closer Listen writes: "By shifting between desolation and hope throughout the album, Sleeping Bear has given the people an soundtrack for their times."
