Let us know how it works out for you!

I would like to deactivate my Facebook account, but would like to be able to get all my pictures off of my account before I do so. Is there a quick and easy way to do this? If I use Social Folders will my photos still be there after I deactivate my account. And does Social Folders back-up the entire album at a time or does it back-up photo by photo? I'm guess my questions are clear as mud. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Nice article.

I noticed 1 thing common in all the services that none of them provide a service/tool to download ur uploaded stuff, and the only way is to depend on 3rd party tools. Absolute shame

Never ever forget that in some cases the upload of a picture to a service passes the rights to that picture to the site's owner. Sounds weird, but that's how i.e. Facebook does it.

Known for a long time: http://www.tyleringram.com/blog/does-facebook-own-your-photos

This hasn't changed a bit with the "new" terms and agreements.

And this is by no means limited to facebook.
