Do you like Twitter? If you do, then you must be on it every day, enjoying the countless things shared by your friends, followers, and people you follow. Many of these things are images and videos that you click on to view. But having a preview of these images will quickly show whether or not you want to check out the media. Here to help Chrome users get that preview is an extension called Previeweet.

preview links on twitter

Previeweet is a free to use browser tool that comes as an extension for Google Chrome. This nifty extension improves a Chrome user’s Twitter experience by saving him a mouse click that is required to view the media shared on Twitter. The network’s users share media links from various websites that include YouTube, Imgur, and many more.

To view the content, you normally have to click on the shared link. But after installing this extension, the preview of these media items, whether they be images or videos, is shown in the right side of the Tweet box. Of course to view the full size image anytime, you can click on the shared link or the image preview thumbnail.

Currently Previeweet supports links from numerous popular websites that host media. These websites include Dribble, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Photobucket, Facebook, Apple, Yfrog, Twitpic, Twitvid, Flickr, and Imgur. This list seems to be growing as the extension seems to be supporting an increasing number of websites.
