Masturbation addiction does effect health, it causes mental and emotional issues. As well as repetitive movement injury to joints. Wrong about getting it if you don’t have a partner. Many addicts have wife’s and or husbands boyfriends and or girlfriends. Addiction doesn’t rely on your limited understanding of the action and reaction to brain chemistry. Do some research, you will be surprised how little you really understand on addiction.

i am 46 yeals old and i had many times periods of up to 5- 8 months no porn no masturbation and then relapsed again … i know people who relapsed after many years.. and plus others who never relapsed even if they were exsesive users of porn . So this is an advice for all of us not to be over optimistic with such an enemy in our brain .

Acknowledge there is a problem. Ask God to help you overcome it. Do whatever He leads you to do about it. Set up a system of rewards and punishments and enforce it upon yourself — slowly removing rewards for infractions and slowly restoring those rewards for good behavior over a certain amount of time. Battling the addiction is hardest at the beginning and gradually gets easier.
