Popchrom is a free to use browser extension for Google Chrome which lets you add shortcut abbreviations for long pieces of text. You can type in an abbreviation and press CTRL+SPACE to have it replaced by its corresponding text.

The CTRL+SPACE buttons along with other abbreviations can be easily modified by accessing the extension’s options; this is also where you can add more abbreviations.
