It's not as flexible as Post-It, however has one excellent feature that made me stick with it for more then 3 years. Memento notes always appear on top of the other active windows, so I don't have to return to the desktop everytime I need to lookup something in one of my notes. And since notes can be easily collapsed/expanded they don't occupy much space either. I am using something similar, it’s called Memento.
