Making a mental note not to forget something at home more often than not results in you forgetting something at home. An iOS app called Don’t Leave It presents users with a reliable alternative that will prompt you to head back home if you’ve forgotten your keys, wallet, and more.

When you first launch the app, it will ask to use your location and send you notifications. In order for the app to work, you will have to enable both.

The app has a long list of suggested items you might be prone to forgetting from your ATM card and keys to your charger and earphones. There are some less than typical options as well including your car, beer, and shoes. If there’s an item missing from the list, you can add it yourself — it just won’t have a cute icon to go with it.

So let’s say you tend to forget your charger. Select it from the list by tapping on the icon, and select when you want to be alerted about the item. You can choose between increments from 30 steps to 240 steps.
