I remember when I was a student, the suspense of waiting to find out what my grades were on report card day was always terrible. I did well in school, but for some reason, the day report cards showed up, I always assumed my teachers would change my grades and make them all terrible. If only I had some kind of smart device filled with applications then I would not have had to worry, because I could have used an application to keep track of my grades.

My GradeBook For Students Grades & Homework is the perfect application for keeping track of your grades. It is a comprehensive grade tracking application that is great for students or parents to keep track of their child’s grades. It’s easy to use and packed with all the features you’ll need.

Best of all, you can grab My GradeBook free from the App Store for a limited time. If you are looking for a way to keep track of your school performance without spending a dime, you need to download this app right away.

To get started, click the “+” to create a new class. In here, you will enter all the important information such as the subject, instructor, units and so on. At the bottom of the screen is the option to enter a custom grading scale. Different teachers use different scales, and the app has you covered in that regard.

Once you have a class entered, you will want to enter your assignments. To do so, click on the class from the main screen, and then click the symbol on the top right corner of the screen. From here, you enter assignments and choose whether it needs to be done, is submitted, or if it is already graded. You will also need to enter the name of the assignment.

As you enter completed and graded assignments, you will see your grade take shape. It will tell you the grade for each class, and it will give you an overall grade point average (GPA). This will take the suspense out of waiting to see what kind of grade you are going to get when your report card comes along.

Another nice thing about this app is the calendar. As you enter assignments they will appear on the calendar, so you can go back and look at what you have done throughout the term and what you still have to do in the near future.

The Settings section of the app allows you to change the look of the app, the default grade scale, your prior GPA and more. This section helps you tweak the app to make it work a little more to your personal preferences, which is always a good thing. You can also use this screen to back all your data up to Dropbox, so if something happens to your phone, you will not lose all your grade data.

If you are looking for an app to keep track of your school progress, My GradeBook For Students Grades & Homework is the perfect app for you. Best of all, you can snag it from the App Store free for a limited time, so don’t wait, as you don’t want to miss your chance to get this awesome app for free.

But it will fail immensely when your teacher is ones who take feelings into consideration, sadly.

If you keep all your work graded by the teacher (hw, exams, etc.) by the end of the course you can (based on your work) fuck with his/her feelings and get your real grade. Or at least that’s my experience.

Hit and miss. I’ve succeeded doing it once, but failed twice. One teacher rarely told us our scores so we had nothing to keep track of. One other used a loophole. We had an ‘invisible’ multiplication factor called ‘daily progress’. She deducted my score because to her, my daily progress score wasn’t enough since I didn’t attend several of her classes despite having perfectly valid reason (my school sent me as representative to a certain event). At the end it’s best if you focus on your studies instead of your grades anyway. Grades can be manipulated. The knowledge you’ve amassed cannot.
