Last week we asked you How big your USB memory stick was How Big Is Your USB Memory Stick? [MakeUseOf Poll] How Big Is Your USB Memory Stick? [MakeUseOf Poll] Read More . And the results are in. First place was held by the 8GB stick. I also find that the 8GB sticks are the best for working with DivX players and other set top devices. Second place was held by 4GB (which was what I had before I upgraded to the 8GB one). Third place was 16GB and fourth was 32GB or higher.

You can see the full results after the jump.

This week we are asking you how many monitors you have in your computer setup. Personally, I have three monitors connected to my PC. Some people think that I should be a stock trader but I say that three monitors gives me three times more room to work and I can differentiate different projects by which screen they are on.

Two 21" widescreens, but I can't get Linux Mint 9 to see them at 3360x1050 to use some of the awesome wallpapers that I used in Mint 8

At home, my system uses two monitors. At work, two systems: one with single, other with two. Also use laptop home & work, both with built-in screen & external 2nd monitor.

Mark, as a writer, it’s almost essential. After spending a month writing MUO, I knew I had to get a second monitor.

I can’t imagine imagine being seriously productive as a writer without a second monitor (I could use three.) Coupled with using automation programs like QuicKeys makes two monitors even more useful.

I'm boring. I only use one monitor. I would love a second one but my wife says we can spend the money on better things. Really? What's better than a second monitor? :-)

    17" Lappy & a 23" Monitor running extended desktop
19" for the desktop and a 15" lappy as a dev server. Most of the time I remote desktop into the desktop and the Dev box using the X2 Client but on occasion have all 4 running. The extended desktop is awesome for cross browser testing. I can see three browsers at the same time.

    1 screen only.

By the way, how did 32Gb memory stick come fourth? On the figures above, I make it the 2Gb?

No it's not. While it does give you some of the options of multiple monitors it does not allow you to compare or use a document on one screen for entry on the other.

I would use three monitors (external display, laptop screen, and the one on my other machine) but I don't have enough... Stuck with just one right now, actually...

You can always grab one or two CRT monitors for cheap or free off of Craigs List! My company actually has a boat load of them that we are going to be getting rid of shortly as do a lot of companies. Its not perfect but it gets the job done!
