Having been a Hotmail user for a while now. I cannot say I like Outlook any better. Yes its cleaner but the whole thing seems designed more for a tablet then a PC.
My other question for me being a Hotmail Plus user is how will that service change when Outlook comes out of beta? Will we see ads and it become a free service only?
Or will their be a option for Outlook Plus with more storage? Maybe Microsoft plans to switch to ad free and add storage anyway? Comparing Outlook, Gmail, and Hotmail along with iCloud which I use also. I don't see any significant issues with any of them. After all they are free and its just a matter of what you become used to using.

Personally, I think the design of the new outlook is amazing and ideal...... for those with 5 year old brains!!!!

It looks like something that a 5 year old would have put together with a 3 year old in mind. It is absolute utter garbage, and anyone who likes it must be in the mental age category as above. Why on earth would Microsoft want to redeign something that millions of people have been happy with for over 15 years? Aren't there more important things to sort out such as: Blue Screens, Windows freezing, Internet Explorer freezing, untold security issues with the O/S. Why not concentrate on making the O/S so secure that like other O/S on the market, they don't need antivirus software? The answer is simple really and it is, if they fixed those issues, then there would be no need to keep the wheels of software developers turning and thus, not as much money going into their massive accounts. So, play around with something that doesn't need changing and most people put the former issues to the back of their simple minds while they play with, for example, a new outlook.com

As for me, I am sticking with Hotmail until MS kick it into touch and then I will move over to something else.
