Learning in isolation can be hard. One of the main benefits of learning math in a classroom is having instructors demonstrate solving a certain problem, explaining how each step of the process works. MathTV.com aims to give you at least some of this benefit via the power of online video. Find a problem similar to the one you're trying to solve and you can watch your choice of online instructor solve and explain it. Most of the instructors work in English, but you will find a few in Spanish as well.
There are five main categories of problems: basic mathematics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus. Click a category and you'll see it broken down into sub-categories, each of which contains many different equations you can watch being solved. There are six different instructors, and every equation seems to have at least two instructors explaining it, so there's always another perspective to watch if the first one didn't quite explain everything for you.
You won't be able to ask your virtual instructors for help, of course, but such is the limitation of online tutorials. Still, MathTV.com is an impressive resource for anyone studying mathematics. Check it out.
