Until March 31: Get Up To $400 For Your Old iPad On BuyMyTronics.com [News]

iPad owners, listen up. If you’re excited about the upcoming release of the iPad 3, you’re probably pondering whether you can really afford a shiny new iPad when you’re older one is still functioning beautifully. If you don’t have anyone you should be giving old iPads to, and you have no use for your old iPad, you might be able to sell it to BuyMyTronics and get some cash in return.

Until March 31st, BuyMyTronics are offering special “iPad 3 release” prices for used iPads, both the original model and the iPad 2. A 64GB 3G iPad 2, in good condition, can fetch you up to $400. The simplest original iPad, with 16GB and Wi-Fi only, can sell for $175. The full price list for this special promo can be found here.

Aside from the financial help you will get towards your new iPad 3, this is also a great way to recycle electronics you no longer use. In order to get a quote, head over to the BuyMyTronics iPad page and search for your product. You will have to give a short description of your product before you get the actual quote. If you decide to sell, BuyMyTronics will pay for the shipping, if you’re in the US. If you’re not, you can still sell your iPad, but you will have to pay for the shipping.

Will you rush to buy the iPad 3? Will the option to sell your old iPad prompt you to go for a new one?

Maybe, but with sites like BuyMyTronics you don’t have the hassle of waiting and communicating with multiple buyers. Some people find that easier. It’s all a matter of preference.
