A search tool available at KallOut.com allows to search multiple search engines Google being one of them. It works for highlighted text in FireFox, Word, OutLook, etc.

Here are two search tools which I enjoy and may answer your
question: "in the news" FF extension. After hiliting a term,
person, etc, right click, choose "in the news" and it will search for related articles/stories.

The other is juice(.com) extension for FF.
It opens up a sidebar with google search results for
a term selected. Check out the video at juice's site. Just do a mouse gesture and the sidebar will open. You can also drag photos or video to the sidebar
for later used. Juice has given me the exact result I was
looking for on more than one occasion. It think that it
looks at the context of the page used as the selection.

Here a question for the group.

The right click option in firefox is tied to the search box.

If amazon is selected in the search box and I highlight some text and right click, I get an option to search amazon for the highlighted text.

My question is this:

Is there a way to make it so when I right click on highlighted text I always get the option to search google in addition to whatever search engine is selected in the box.

Please advise.
