Cool Software and Websites:

  • Editgrid – web-based alternative to Microsoft Excel. Offers standard Excel functions plus some handy extras: spreadsheet sharing, team collaboration, export to (.xls, .csv, .pdf…) and some more.
  • LordOfTV – online TV channel directory that lists 1000+ channels. Lets you browse channels by country, category(movies, music, science…) and popularity. If that’s not enough, here are 6 more places to watch TV online
  • MusicPlusTV – web-based music channel: exclusive shows, interviews, live performances and lots of music videos. Check out what’s currently on here
  • Prioritize – handy calculator that helps you identify your main goals and rank them from most to least important(by CNN Money)
  • Revision3 – bunch of cool video blogs(aka vlogs), including all-admired Diggnation (“…Revision3 is an actual TV network for the web, creating, producing its own original entertainment and content”)
  • Share2me – browser plug-in(Firefox and IE) that lets you quickly share your web favorites with friends. Demo
  • Zemble – social networking website that lets you send free text messages to large groups of friends directly from your phone. Recipients can respond either to the entire group or just the author of the original message.
  • Zettels – simple web-based tool for keeping notes and memos. (It was also added it to our jumbo gang of ‘todo list’ services)

Interestingly enough, most of those are good. But the lord of tv one albeit is a little funky and I would strongly recommend a previous suggested makeuse site called FreeTube ( http://www.freetube.us.tc / http://www.freetube.co.nr ). It’s got more channels and there’s a bit more clarity as to what each channel contains and unlike lords of tv, which seems to be plagued with erroneous and mislabeled links, FreeTube seems to have working video streams and an overall better design IMHO.

I agree, Freetube seems to be way more user-friendly and comprehensive.
