I suspect it works well for presentations created from scratch, but I would rate it unacceptable for importing PowerPoint presentations for a couple of reasons. First, it removes embedded hyperlinks. Second, it does not preserve the original format very well: in my example, it stripped off bullets, and changed font sizes (or space between line), so some text of the slides moved beyond visible area of enclosing shapes (rectangles). Too bad: I was thinking of moving to SlideRocket from Scribd. The presentation and site look GUI are pretty awesome, though.

I’ve been trying this for a couple of weeks. Overall, it’s excellent and the offline player works really well. I have hit a few glitches with failing to save tags and time taken to upload/download, and there are a few things missing from the feature set, but I’m still persevering and that says a lot for me!
Of course, Sliderocket will become really popular and the new transition will become as jaded as PowerPoint, but for now it’s well worth trying.
