I’m a bit confuse.
The open source world provides us a lot of greats softwares wich are clearly (very) good alternatives to proprietary softwares.
As newbee in “portable applications world”, i’m searching of “my solution” and your article is appeared in search result.
Liberkey seem to be attractive but Jeremy’s comment, report some serious points.

So a new search in portableapps.com forum about Liberkey and legality, return their clear point of view.
Again a search, but this time in Liberkey’s forum … and another clear point of view.

Now, as little user, who i’m trust in ? who i must believe ?

That’s why i’m confuse.

Well they DO HAVE one feature that neither of the other two have. Auto update. I discovered both Poartable Apps and Winpenpack a while back. They are GREAT!!! But having to go thru and manually update on a regular basis is a real pain and would be quite time consuming if I did a through job of it. That's the first feature that jumps out at me. Even before visiting the site. By the way, I do understand they are BLATTENLY violating tradmarks and licensing all over the place. I just wish the Winpan people could find it in their hearts to add that particular feature.

It should be noted that liberkey illegally packages software. They ripped of portableapps.com and used all their code and their launchers without providing credit or source code for over a year.

They’re currently violating the mozilla trademark guidelines since they’re doing all the mozilla apps without permission. They’re violating the gpl and lgpl on all apps they provide. They’re packaging chrome and other apps without permission in violation of their eula. All their launchers are closed source and may do bad things. Their menu program is just asuite with a different theme (the exact same one used by winpenpack and lupopensuite). The file associations are done using cafe which wasn’t written by them either and can be used with portableapps.com, winpenpack, lupo, etc.

Liberkey didn’t actually create anything themselves. They’re just ripping off everyone else’s work.
