Fine Art – Tips

The Fine Art – Tips YouTube channel has a wonderful array of drawing tutorials. From people to places to things, you can learn to draw most anything that interests you.

The artist who provides the tutorials is Leonardo Pereznieto. He has been awarded prizes such as The Mozart Prize for the Arts (sculpture) and the Gold Medal, Italy Award for Visual Arts. His work is displayed in museums and galleries around the world.

1. Drawing Basics

Fine Art – Tips has a helpful section that teaches you the basics of drawing. You can learn about shading and shadows or one-point perspective. You can also check out the tutorial with tips for drawing better overall based on a line.

2. People and Body Parts

You will find almost 60 videos in this category that include everything from portraits to figures to body parts like ears and hands. The step-by-step instructions are easy to follow and the artist explains the reasons for his process, which is helpful for future drawings.

3. Landscapes and Nature

The landscape tutorials go a little further by using different tools such as a pencil, fountain pen, colored pen, and paintbrush. The scenes take you from a simple tree to snowy mountains to a distant castle. This helpful collection of tutorials is perfect if you are truly just learning to draw. The videos show you the basics of using pencil for drawing lines, curves, objects, and shadows. As with Fine Art – Tips, Art of Wei offers easy-to-follow instructions and explanations throughout the drawing process.

8. People and Portraits

From Marilyn Monroe and David Beckham to characters and superheroes, this category offers portrait tutorials that use photos as the models. You will find 40 videos to choose from, so there is something (or someone) for every interest.

9. Figures and Faces

If you would like to concentrate on specific facial features or even figures in action, you will find a dozen tutorials for that here. Learn to draw an eye, nose, lips, hands, and hair. Or challenge yourself with figures in motion like Cristiano Ronaldo kicking or Steph Curry dribbling.
