Last Message: Notify Contacts That You Are Unreachable After Your Phone Battery Gets Low [Android]

Any mobile phone user can confirm that the phone battery running out is not a good situation to be in. A person is constantly worrying about missing important calls from contacts. In addition to missing calls and text messages, what is feared more is that your friends will misinterpret your lack of response as ignoring them. This is especially true when your battery dies in the middle of a phone conversation and you have no way to text or call back the person you were on the phone with.

Fortunately for Android phone owners, this is no longer a problem, all thanks to an application called Last Message.

Last Message is a free to use smartphone application that is compatible with Android devices. This user-friendly app is sized at nearly 1 MB and requires your smart device to be running version 2.2 or later of the Android OS. You can set the application to notify your contacts whenever your battery is at a certain percentage of its full charge level. You can let friends know via text message, email, Facebook, and Twitter by automatically sending out a custom message each time your phone’s battery reaches the specified level.

You can also check out your battery’s health stats from the application’s menus.
