Let’s face it, cooking isn’t easy. Especially if you have to keep track of different activities while making a particular item. KitchenTimer is a tool that helps you with your cooking by letting you create multiple timers.

To start, search for a recipe using the built-in Google search and select one you like. KitchenTimer will display the recipe on the right half of your screen allowing you to see the timers on the left hand side.

Then for each and every activity you need to track like marinating, frying, baking, broiling,  just start a new timer by specifying the exact number of minutes, hours or seconds. When the time is up, KitchenTimer will play a sound to alert you.

You can create as many timers as you want without the hassle of signing up for an account or downloading an app.

Thanks so much for featuring us! I would just add that you can actually search for whatever you'd like on the right. In fact, a number of users have written to us describing the different ways they use Some users have used it as an alarm clock for naps, another used it to set productivity goals (like for the Pomodoro Technique) and other users -- including me -- have actually checked their email on the right and use the timers on the left to see if they can get it done in a certain amount of time. Basically, we kept it simple and flexible and we look forward to hearing about all of the fascinating ways people are integrating this easy-to-use, always accessible set of timers into their lives (besides cooking with a recipe, of course).
