you can hide the command line window by setting “run” on the shortcut to “minimized”.

We just ordered my son a 10" netbook this morning. I have setup a test account on Windows with Kids Menu, and used a batch file to: first mount an ISO of the selected kids game CD (with Daemon Tools Lite), second I start the game. I will probably use some VBScript either as a wrapper for the batch file (or to replace the batch file) to remove the command line window that pops up when a game is selected. Batch file example:

"C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools\daemon.exe" -mount 0,"C:\Users\Public\Games\Jumpstart Preschool\cd.iso"

cd C:\DLCS\PRSCHOOL\

"C:\DLCS\PRSCHOOL\PRSCHOOL.EXE"
