I still have a hard time understanding the benefit of following with twitter versus an rss reader.

Exactly! Especially if you only use Twitter to import your feeds via Twitterfeed.

Just did that. I can’t access reader all the time, but I can access twitter from my phone.

Some blogs send article posts, but some others send links that are not usually anywhere on the blog. Think of it as a bonus material. :)

depends on how you use Twitter and how often you visit our website. If you are always on twitter and would like to know as soon as we publish something new then twitter is the way to go, otherwise I’d stick to RSS.
