Google Plus received a significant boost today when they launched Pages, their answer to Facebook Pages, and the beginning of brands setting out their online tent on Google’s social network site.
We now have our very own spot on Google Plus.
We highly encourage you to come on over and become a follower of the page, as every day we will be posting some cool stuff as well as highlighting some MakeUseOf posts. It’s also a great place for you to get to know MakeUseOf staff better and communicate with us directly.
To start following MakeUseOf on Google+, just go to our page and click on ‘Add To Circles’ button.
We’ve decided to run a contest to encourage you to start following MakeUseOf on Google+ right now. In one week’s time (November 15th), we will choose one follower of our Google+ page at random and award them the brand new iPhone 4S. The contest is open to everyone, regardless of where you are in the world.

But I can’t seem to find the +1 button… all my images are messed up (but that’s just my dodgy internet connection…)
At the end of the article are all our sharing buttons. The +1 button is between the Digg button and the green PDF button on the far right.
To qualify for the iPhone though, you need to be a follower of our Google+ page :-)
