If you work on a Mac, from time to time you have to access your calendar – to view the current date, view future dates and their corresponding days of the week, etc. To access the native calendar on the Mac you will have to drag your mouse to the top screen, click with your mouse to access the calendar and then click between months. If you access the calendar quite often on your Mac and wish there was a better way to do it, check out Itsycal.
It is a handy tiny calendar app for Mac OS that stays out of the way while being easily accessible. It is better than the native Mac calendar because it is keyboard friendly. For example you go back and forth between calendar months using keyboard arrows (<-, ->), to get to the current month you press the Space button and press “Esc” button to hide the calendar. You can easily access it by setting up your own keyboard shortcut combination as you see fit.
So in essence, with Itsycal you can access and view your calendar faster and without ever using your mouse. It is free to download and available for Mac OSX versions 10.8 or later.
