iTrackmine, as they mention is the only robust personal collection manager which helps you track and manage your collection of books, music, movies, electronic items and various other goods which you can access anywhere, once you sign up for a free account with them.

It is also a place where you can borrow and lent items. You can check out items your friends are willing to loan, track items you have lent to others, access friends’ wishlists and view their collections.

All this could be done from your cellphone which could help when you are out shopping and you need to check some details about a specific item in your collection.

I used this just today... fairly simple task: I'm moving to a smaller place so I'm looking at a better, or at least less space taking, system for shelving my DVDs, but then I needed to know how many DVDs I have, so I went to iTrackmine to look at the collection graph. A little bit of basic math later and I knew just which DVD stands to order.
