Fans of the popular messaging client called imo are in for some good news today. Essentially, imo has released a complete redesign for their app on both iOS and Android. That’s always a risk for the creators, as people grow accustomed to the way the app was, and changing it can make dedicated users angry. I must say, as an imo user, I am quite happy with the changes. It takes guts to rebuild an app from the ground up, and I am happy to see imo put forth the effort to redesign the app like this.

The update changes the interface of the contacts and messages section. Now, they are combined, which makes it easier to get you in touch with your friends. It puts all the people you talk to the most in one easy to access place. This should help make talking to your friends quicker, and more efficient.

Group photo sharing has been added to this update, including real-time uploading of photos to the group. This makes chatting feel more alive and enjoyable.

You can now swipe between sections of the app quickly. The new interface only has one page, so to change to other sections, you simply swipe. This helps make the app look a lot more clean. It might take a little getting used to, but it definitely looks great.

Overall, this is a great update from the team at imo. It is a major redesign that helps improve the functionality of the app a great deal. If you have not tried imo as your Android or iOS messaging app, now might be the perfect time.

I'm using it for a half year and I still love it.

And the app (android) works very fine.

    Worth trying out :-)
