The Humble Bundle has just released its third bundle for Android, featuring independent games at a bargain price you choose. However, all the games are also available for Windows, OS X and Linux, so it’s a bundle everyone should be interested in.
Five games are included. They are Bit.Trip Beat, Fieldrunners, SpaceChem, Spirits and Uplink. Spirits is only available to those who pay more than the average. Several games included in the bundle are making their Android or Linux debut. And, as with all Humble Bundles, the games are entirely free of DRM.
Buyers choose their price and also choose how to allocate money between the developers, the charities supported by the Humble Bundle and the Humble Bundle itself. You can pay as little or as much as you like, but you have to pay more than the average to obtain the game Spirits. The top 10 contributors have their names added to a contributor hall-of-fame on the bundle’s page.
Android compatibility is the only catch. SpaceChem will only run on Android devices with a resolution of 1280×800 or better and Uplink is only compatible with tablets.
This is one of the better bundles released so far. The least critically acclaimed game is arguably Fieldrunners and even it has received generally positive reviews and has proved incredibly popular. As with all Humble Bundles, this offer is only available for a limited time. So what are you waiting for? Go buy it!
