you get points for:
A/ likes – 1pt/ each
B/ reblogs – 3pt/ each
C/ new followers – 3pt/ each

Received points are there for a week, then there are gone for good. That’s why tublarity goes down. However, you can ignore it by using this Greasemonkey script: userscripts.org/scripts/show/48746.
