You're right, Skype now charges for landline calls (other than toll-free numbers that is). However, despite the fact that the article has "Skype" in the title, HotRecorder is a "VOIP" recorder. It looks like in order for people(without Skype) to call you, you must purchase a phone number. To call landlines through Skype, it costs money. I downloaded the trial version a year or so ago, and I used it for recording a number of interviews including some that went well over an hour. I can't say they might have modified the trial version to add that limitation - and if so, my apologies for not spotting it. However, I'd recommend to readers who are interested to give it a shot anyway because I know my trial version was only limited in terms of converting the files over - that's why I bought the premium, but there was no limitation on time.
