Hey, we have two Rob’s here. Thanks for the toolbar link. It’s good. But personally, I was looking out for something simpler. Though toolbars are useful, I fell they crowd the browser space. I like to keep it light and minimal. But your toolbar info is welcome. Esp. it’s ability to re-tweet.

I just use the FriendFeed bookmarklet and have it cross-posted to Twitter. Add #fb to it and it’ll go to Facebook as well if the Selective Twitter app is installed in Facebook. One bookmarklet, one checkbox checked, one app installed. Boom!

I am using it and haven’t had a problem. Are you sure you are keeping the message within 140 characters? Just delete the bookmarklet and again add a fresh one. Worth a shot.

I used to use the Opera Widget, until I found that I was using twitter too extensively for it to meet my needs. I switched to Tweekdeck and now I have moved onto Seesmic.

There is a neat trick that would allow you to tweek directly from Opera’s addressbar. You can find it here.
