That’s a valid point ,I also use contact form in my blog instead of showing email address ,but those who want feedback from readers through email addresses only without using any contact form it is better for them to use email icon generator or hidetext.

As far as hiding your email address on a blog or other site, you can just set up a contact form page to make the site send you an email instead of the person contacting you.

Also, never bother ‘unsubscribing’ using links from within an email. That just tells the spammer it’s an active address, opening the door to more spam.

I had to read the article a couple of times to understand how it works. Now I got it. Cool!

As for avoiding spamming, I use mailinator.com. It has nothing to do with hidetext but check it out. It is useful.
