One aspect of travelling which always fills up my suitcase and adds loads of extra weight is "how will I keep my toys charged up" if I'm away for any length of time. I recommend a rechargeable power supply such as PowerMonkey. They come with various adaptors which fit all your toys. This way you only need to carry one charger for the PowerMonkey which can be used multiple times between charges for your mobile phone, Ipod, camera etc. I believe that there are similar products which also can charge some netbooks, but I am not sure about this.
