I use Yauba http://www.yauba.com. You just need to search once and it retrieves literally everything online about the topic.

No need for multiple search engines when http://www.yauba.com does the job.

I can't believe you forgot to include Yauba http://www.yauba.com! Not only can you search multiple social sites at once, you can do so in complete privacy.

I prefer http://veryrecent.com

It's perhaps not as comprehensive as some of the others, but it's simple to use. Input your search term and hit enter...also, you can simply bookmark your search result and then come back to it each day, to see updates.

These sites may come in handy for clients with low budgets. Of course I'm sure most folks know about Google alerts which track mentions of keywords and company names for free. They can also bring in many alerts that are not for your company, but that include the same words. But you can use Boolean search terms to include or exclude certain terms. For example putting a 3-word phrase in quotes means it will bring in alerts that use all of the terms inside quotes, but not those that use only 1 or 2 of the 3 words.

Great post! It is exactly what I was searching for!

Other tools:

Hubspot.com’s http://grader.com/ “grades” Web sites, press releases, Twitter profiles and Facebook profiles. I’ve only used the site grader–not all useful, but still very revealing.

Different than your topic, but useful from a different angle.

Thanks.
