I’ve just tried this out and it more or less worked. There were one or two snags which shows that the festure needs to have a few bugs ironed out of it. For one, the formatting from webpage to PDF is not entirely perfect and two, when I tried to view the PDF, it told me that I had to download various PDF addons such as Chinese fonts!!! There isn’t any Chinese characters at all in the Wikipedia articles that I chose for my books so why do I need to download them?

Still, a rather neat feature!

That shows the worth of Wikipedia as an information source doesn’t it :) I for one make it a point to check out the external links given at the bottom too for more useful information.

So we can look forward to more lazily assembled educational notes in college/university courses?
Speaking from bitter experience of signing up for a part-time university course only to notice that many of the “course notes” were ripped directly from Wikipedia articles…
