What you *could* do is tag the albums as compilation (right-click songs in the same album, Get Info -> Info tab -> Check 'Part of a Compilation'. However one thing that has always annoyed me is compilation albums and how they fit in. For example, I have a few Ministry of Sound albums, and every track is by a different artist. This means when I am browsing through my artists on my iPhone or in the quick browser in iTunes, those artists are sprinkled all through the rest of them, which becomes a bit annoying.
