Sorry to be just responding to your comment. I didn’t see it pop up in my email notice.

1. Posts problem: this clearly should not be a problem. Are you getting any kind of error notice? When you type in the “Share what’s new..” box, it should just show up after you click the Share button. Could have something to do with your web browser?

2. YouTube. Are you trying to add your own YT videos or someone else’s? That too should just happen, because of the YT and Google integration.

3. I don’t think you can create a custom URL for Google+, at least not for everyone. http://mashable.com/2012/08/23/google-plus-custom-urls/

4. Visibility: Check your privacy settings in your Google+ account. You need to set so that everyone can see your posts and profile, just your Google contacts. Click on your name on the upper-right of the Google+ page. Then click on Google+ on the left side column. You should see the visibility settings there.

Sorry I can’t of much more help. I’ve never experienced the problems you’re having with Google. If you’re getting error messages from any of the above, let me know what they are.

Thanks for your clear explanations how to work with Google+. However we’re experiencing 5 problems:

1. Posts problem.
We have just made our own page but have problems with posting new texts and photos. It just does not work. We click on the field “share news” and on “+ share”, then nothing happens. It is just not possible to enter text. Strange.

2. Youtube problem
Also we cannot add video with Youtube links.

3. URL problem
And we cannot create our own URL, only the Google+ URL with a stupid amount of numbers is available

4. Visibility problem
When a potential customer visit our Google+ page/site he has create a Google+ account first to see something of our page.

5. Help problem
Google+ help does not describe solutions for the problems above and there is no telephonenumber you can call for help. Instead they offer you to send feedback. If you do that you’ll get a message: “thanks for your feedback, we use this to improve Google+”.

I think it is strange that these problems occur while everybody is talking about the fact that Google+ will become a big hit and is the fastest growing social media application. I don’t understand it. Not yet…
