The author asks, "Do you still prefer reading from paper books or have you embraced the electronic versions?" as though the two are mutually exclusive. I am a bibliophile, a lover of books in all their forms. I have a kindle, and I have embraced it as an amazing and unique way to read -- and through sources like project gutenburg, have been able to acquire special and otherwise rare reading material that is enhancing my life.

That being said, there is still nothing better than the look, feel, and smell of a new paper book, and for some situations I'd rather have that than an ebook. Make new friends and keep the old: embrace new reading technologies, and still maintain your love for the classic book.

Overrated - you know what that smell is? Glue made from horse bones and blood. It's used in all book spines, and gives that lovely new book smell.
