If you have important documents on your computer that you want to access from a remote location later on, it is a good idea to create a backup of them online for better accessibility. Offering this service and the service of sharing your digital document files online is a website called GroupDocs.
GroupDocs is a site that lets you sign up for a free account. Free account users can upload documents until up till 1GB of storage is reached or 50 documents have been uploaded. Supported file formats include nearly all of the commonly used digital document formats.
In case you want to share your uploaded documents with peers in another format, you can use the built-in “Convert” option in the app.
Documents can be shared through the “Share” option and then typing in the email address of the recipients. You can also copy the links of the documents and share them directly.
In case you do not have document reading software installed, you can simply click on a document and it will be loaded for reading in the app’s own interface.
