Nice app. If anybody requires notification from other providers like Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail etc. then try Multi Email Notifier http://www.multiemailnotifier.com. I love the sound it plays when new email arrives.

I've released my own Wave notifier, it doesn't do all the stuff this one does, but if you only use Wave, it's perfect. It sits in the system tray in Windows with an icon and alerts you to new messages!

The pop ups aren't working for me on Win7HP. I get the notification tone & an icon in the systray but no pop ups. Only see the pop up if I click on the icon. Too bad, I was hoping to replace Growl with this.

Also, support for multiple Gmail accounts would be a nice enhancement.

Martyn: I made the same mistake. The only thing to do for it is to delete the file called ".googsystrayrc" in your home folder.

I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Great find, Varun!

And Googleverse...the code's all open. Check out what the program does with your data on your own if you really don't trust it. I'd love to hear what you find.

Unfortunately cannot install on Windows Xp Pro. All I get is "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." I've even tried older versions....
Hopefully this will work at a later time, i'll keep an eye on it.
